(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Tabuk, August 22, 2022, SPA — The Saudi Press Agency “SPA” has won first place in the “Horse Through Your Lens” competition organized by the Saudi Equestrian Federation on the occasion of World Photography Day, coinciding with August 19 each year, and aims to encourage the practice of photography as a profession.
Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Equestrian Federation and Chairman of the Board of the Horse Racing Club, congratulated the winners, inviting them to attend the King Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Cup, which will be held in Taif, under the patronage of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz, adviser to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of the Makkah region, and is considered one of the races dedicated to purebred Arabian horses.
SPA photographer Mohammad Al-Sharif, who won the first place, expressed his joy at winning, adding to the list of SPA achievements in different fields.
He added “World Photography Day is an opportunity for us to learn the new photographic skills necessary for a professional photographer to develop their work, share their favorite photos with others, exchange ideas with other photographers from different schools and discover their passion for their profession.. This day is also a platform for photographers to present the most important transformations that must be developed in the world of photography to practice the fundamental right of everyone to see the new photography , understand its basics, the places and moments of shooting, and learn more about the visual and photographic arts”.
