This requires the establishment of an integrated system of production infrastructure and the exploitation of the latest methods in artificial insemination centers nationwide as well as genetic improvement lines for the development of livestock.
Sisi gave instructions to intensify breeding development efforts, given their direct economic and financial return for breeders and farmers, especially with regard to the expansion and generalization of high-production breed programs. of meat and dairy products on a national scale, since this sector represents one of the most important elements of food security, meets the needs of citizens and achieves a balance in the markets between local production and imports.
The President was also informed of the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture to develop the “Al Zahraa” station for the breeding of Arabian and Egyptian horses, which is one of the most important farms in the world for horses of purebred who own the best breeds of Arabian horses.
