Saudi Arabia launches championship celebrating purebred Arabian horses

The Riyadh Front Exhibition and Convention Center will host the second edition of the International Championship of Purebred Arabian Beauty and Egyptian Horses, or “Kahila” for short. The Chairman of the Equestrian Authority and Horse Racing Club, His Highness Prince Bandar Bin Khalid Al-Faisal is expected to participate in the event which will take place on May 25.

The event committee said Kahila will be held in the indoor area of the Riyadh Front Exhibitions and Convention Center, and is scheduled to run from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The five-day championship aims to celebrate the importance of horses Arabs in the Kingdom, while simultaneously advancing horse-related events nationally and internationally.
