National Institute of Reproductive Health (NIRH) Announces 2022 Champions of Choice Awards Luncheon Winners

NEW YORK, April 6, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The National Institute of Reproductive Health (NIRH) and NIRH Equity Fund is proud to announce the winners of its annual competition Choice Champions awards dinner to be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET at the Ziegfeld Ballroom (141 W 54and St.) in New York. Known as the the New York one premier reproductive rights events and attended by more than 500 prominent leaders in philanthropy, business, media and politics, this year’s event will recognize three individuals for their continued commitment and use of influence to advocating for reproductive health, rights and justice. The program will be moderated by a media personality Aisha C. Millsmember of the board of directors of the NIRH Action Fund.

Choice Champions is co-chaired by the members of the board dr. Cailin Fiss, dr. Elizabeth Comen and filmmaker Dawnbringer. Honorary presidents include Amy Brenneman (actress, writer, producer, activist), Kate Walsh (actress, entrepreneur, activist), Alysia Reiner (actress, producer), Merrin Dungey (actress, producer), Bonnie Fuller (CEO/Publisher of Hollywood Life), Lysa Heslov (director/producer), Lara Marcon (philanthropist), Nancy Silverman (philanthropist) and Lola C. West (financial advisor, agent of change).

The National Institute for Reproductive Health (NIRH) and the National Institute for Reproductive Health Action Fund (NIRH Action Fund) are advocacy groups fighting for fair and equitable access to reproductive health care and building political power for reproductive freedom . The NIRH and its Action Fund launch campaigns, change policies, and elect candidates, all while working hand-in-hand with reproductive health, rights, and justice organizations in states and cities across the country. What makes the NIRH unique is their approach of taking action to pass laws that ensure people get the care they need, while putting in place protections to counter efforts to further erode access to abortion, contraception and maternal health care.
