All Creatures Great and Small airs on Channel 5, and the series has been officially renewed for three more seasons. On the Christmas special, fans saw Tristan Farnon (played by Callum Woodhouse) take his vet exams. The actor spoke exclusively to Express.co.uk about the portrait of the young vet.

All Creatures Big and Small, Season 3 will likely see Tristan go solo as he deals with clients in Darrowby.

His brother Siegfried (Samuel West) was delighted to learn that Tristan had finally passed his exams.

He’s likely to give Tristan a lot more responsibility which would really test his level of professionalism.

Tristan is also dealing with personal relationships as he found out that his sweetheart, Maggie (Mollie Winnard) was already engaged.

The young vet was previously played by Peter Davison in the BBC version of the series.
